i forgot friday 9/14

9/14: no classes but went to sit in on my professors class on Optoelectronics and i actually understood most of it! and learned some new tech-y chinese words. he even called me out in class to testify to the expensive cost of txtbks in the US (to encourage everyone to appreciate their luck and buy the bk) i forgot what else happened but for dinner Josh promised me we'd go to a dumpling place he'd been to. We went and ordered loads of em, but Cyril and Ben REALLY didn't like it. I didn't know people could not like dumplings, but they even lost their appetite after it and had to take some meds once we got back. we hung out in the grad housing since they can actually have other people come in. and saw josh's photo album from his girlfriend that is really cute! their apt is nice because it has two balconies, though doesn't have A/C.
