Today I got to lab at 9am cuz Wen Wei was supposed to show me some of his experiments. When I got there, they were all going to class (and classes are 3 hrs here) so I just went back to sleep til lunch time. then went back and finally got to do something! The last step was 2 hrs so I watched Shrek 3 in between. There were some mooncakes in lab to eat so I tried one, and it was weird. Outside was like coffee tasting powder and then it was more like maji...chewy stuff and the inside was...this black stuff i dont remember what it's called but i liked all of it but the coffee part. But immediately my stomach was like ehhh. And it wasn't good for some reason. Then went to dinner with Josh and we got dumplings since the Belgians (non dumpling eating people) had gone to Taipei to get digital cameras. Afterwards Josh wanted to go look at a local fish store so we went. And then i was suckered into getting some too cuz i'm sad without pets. We were there for at least an hour deciding on fish and tanks. I finally chose what I want, then Josh chose his, but they were ghost fish or something and they fight with each other. The lady said it might fight with little ones I chose so Josh just chose other fish. I felt bad cuz he was the one who wanted fish in the first place, but he said he really didn't mind. We might still get the ghost fish if mine fish grow a little bigger and can defend themselves. But it was cool, the fish were so cheap! Mine were 3 for $49 ($1.50) and Josh's were 5 for $99 ($3). But with the rest of the accessories it totalled $1857 ($28 each). The first pic were my fish (panda corys) and below is the whole shot, you can see my little babies in the bottom right corner, they're really little, about 3/4 inch! Unfortunately, I now have the pet bug and want to get a baby turtle to keep in my room...we'll see
